The commercial determinants of health, relating to the direct and indirect ways in which commercial actor activities affect people’s health, are an important social determinant of health. One of the key priorities identified for WHO is the need to raise awareness and understanding of the commercial determinants of health, their positive and negative impacts, and effective action for policymakers to address them. Therefore, WHO is organizing a series of webinars for a diverse audience to explore this emerging public health priority area. Each webinar in this series addresses key topics such as measurement approaches, sustainability, governance and power.
